Ilúvatar's Helm

Ilúvatar's Helm is not open to just anyone with a Lord of the Rings Online account.  Instead we strive to offer Kinship to only those we feel embody what the Helm is all about.  Here are a few items of note to consider when requesting membership within our honoured Kinship.

• Mature - We expect a level of maturity from our members that demonstrates our will to create an enjoyable time for everyone.  No drama.
• Skilled - Bring something to our table.  We're looking for skilled players who know, or have a desire to learn how to play their character as best they can.
• Active - You've got to be someone who enjoys grouping, and interacting with others.
• Helpful - As you progress, you're willing to pass your knowledge and resourses on to other Kinmates
• Dependable - While this is a game, we expect all members of the Helm to hold true to their word.
• Loyal - This means Kin first.
• Honourable and Proud - Are you willing to conduct yourself as more than a person behind a keyboard?  Show others what it means to be apart of our mighty Kin!

If you feel you have all or most of the above traits, then please send an in-game letter or tell to Thornspine requesting a trial membership.  Upon recieving your letter, you will be contacted in order to schedule a short interview.  The interview will consist of a number of questions intended to help us determine the type of person/player that you are.  Don't be intimidated, as this is simply to aid us in screening applicants, and not to make personal judgements on you or your character.

Fantastic - we think you'll fit right in!  Once you're accepted into our Kin, do your best to prove that you're worth our investment.  Help others (even outside of the Kin), join groups, provide a good gaming experience - I'm sure you get the idea.  Most importantly is to have fun - why else do we play this game?

For players of level 35 or higher, trial membership will consist of two weeks.  After this time the Kin Leader and a small tribunal will determine whether or not you are to be granted full membership.  Players who have not yet reached level 35 may still apply under the same circumstances, however membership will not be granted until you have attained level 35.

Because the Helm is devoted to providing role-play, fellowship, items, renown, crafting, and ultimately a good time.  Whether you're establishing a deeper storyline for your character through role-play, or burning down Creeps in the Ettenmoors, you can rest assured we will stand by and provide aid to our members.
